Last week Glocalminds delivered a two days Workshop on Sustainability Entrepreneurship for Team Academy Euskadi in the Research Center of Labein-Tecnalia in the Basque Country. The participants were a mix of environmental researchers, young emerging entrepreneurs and senior experienced entrepreneurs that will participate in the leadership programmes of the institution.

It was the first two days workshop delivered in a Spanish speaking country, focused on including the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development (FSSD) -commonly known as The Natural Step framework by sustainability practitioners-  in the entrepreneurial education at the very early stages of its training program.

The workshop was facilitated by Pablo Villoch, who combined a wide range of interactive participatory methodologies to let the attendants explore their burning questions about how to design business models with a strategic sustainability perspective.  Inspired by Alexander Osterwalder and Andrew Outhwaite’s previous work, he combined visual business model generation with the backcasting approach to frame the business ideas within the cycles of nature, complying with the four fundamental sustainability principles.
